I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be warming the stage for Gavin DeGraw on Friday, April 13th at Gustavus Adolphus College. Doors open at 7pm and music will start at 8pm. I'll have about 35 minutes with the full band... plenty of time to throw some new stuff at those who can attend. Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, March 26th and can be purchased online at gustavustickets.com. Spring is right around the corner, which signifies two things. 1) winter ending, and 2) the release of my new EP. I'm listening to rough mixes of the new tracks as we speak and cannot wait to release it for your patiently waiting ears. I think we're going to surprise some people with this batch of songs. There is undoubtably a little something for everyone on this EP (still working on a title) and I'm currently shooting for a late Spring release date. Wow, it's December 1st! Where does time go? As some of you know, I have coined this little thing called the "30 in 30" - in which I release a new music video every day for 30 days. Part I went down in April. I had plans of starting Part II on November 1st, but I was delayed. I then had plans of starting December 1st (today), but four nagging wisdom teeth got in the way of that deadline. But fear not, there is good news. The new "30 in 30: Part II - The Countdown to Nashville" will start on December 24th (yes, that is Christmas Eve). The thinking here is simple, on the 30th day of our countdown (January 22nd), I hop in a car with a few bandmates and make the 14 hour drive to Nashville, TN where I get to record a brand new 7-track EP with a beast of a producer, Mr. Neilson Hubbard. I am beyond excited and have put a lot of time into writing the tracks for the new EP. Although I am proud of my last release, the Dim Light Shining EP, I feel like I have grown exponentially since those songs were written.
