It's really fall. The air is thin and chilling. The leaves have transitioned from green to orange to brown and are now gone for the most part. Although I'm devastated to see the summer warmth leave us, the colder temps steer me inside. And inside is where music gets made... or at least written and recorded. It has been a relatively crazy couple of months since the release of 'Consumed'. I spent some time in sunny LA working on a few projects. I also spent a bit of time learning and experimenting with "looping" and beat-boxing in preparation for some college shows and more importantly - NEW VIDEOS. I hope to start spitting out videos in the next few weeks so stay tuned on facebook and twitter. In the meantime, I'll be writing lots of songs and plan on releasing a couple in the next few months. As always, it was so nice chatting with y'all! We'll talk soon, but until next time - do what you love, take chances, chase dreams and follow your heart. We only get one life.
Hey, so... it's been awhile...
Wow, this is embarrassing. What can I say? I was so "consumed" (pun definitely intended) preparing for the release of my last EP that I forgot to keep y'all updated along the way. Since the last time we talked: the 'Consumed' EP dropped on iTunes July 24th, had a hell of a release show in my hometown of Minneapolis and starred in my first legit, official, "MTV-like" music video. Many, many behind the scenes business decisions have been made. I've decided to quit my day job and pursue this pipe dream. Effective September 14th, my full-time responsibility will be all things music. I just hope and pray you guys are ready for the ride. After all, we're doing this thing together. None of it would be possible without your help and support. You are what motivates and inspires me to get better, grow bigger and go harder. Big things people, big things. Keep your eyes open, but grab your shades... the future is bright.
Big Concert News!
I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be warming the stage for Gavin DeGraw on Friday, April 13th at Gustavus Adolphus College. Doors open at 7pm and music will start at 8pm. I'll have about 35 minutes with the full band... plenty of time to throw some new stuff at those who can attend. Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, March 26th and can be purchased online at gustavustickets.com. I'm really close to announcing the new EP release information as well, so keep checking Facebook and Twitter. Until next time, stay classy.
Hurry up spring...
Spring is right around the corner, which signifies two things. 1) winter ending, and 2) the release of my new EP. I'm listening to rough mixes of the new tracks as we speak and cannot wait to release it for your patiently waiting ears. I think we're going to surprise some people with this batch of songs. There is undoubtably a little something for everyone on this EP (still working on a title) and I'm currently shooting for a late Spring release date. As soon as we finalize the release date, we will announce details about a release concert at a TBA venue in Minneapolis. Stay tuned for many more updates to come. Facebook. Twitter. Much love.
